We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Senior Supply Chain Functional Consultant with 4–10 years of expertise across core Supply Chain modules. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on implementation experience, excellent process knowledge, and the ability to lead solution design and client workshops across procurement, inventory, sales, and distribution areas.
D365 F&O Senior SCM Consultant
Candidate Must Have :
- 4–10 years of hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant in D365 F&O / AX Supply Chain.
- Strong expertise in:
- Inventory Management
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Sales & Distribution
- PIM
- Logistics & Transportation
- Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes including purchasing, receiving, sales order processing, shipping, inventory control, and forecasting.
- Hands-on experience in cross-functional processes involving Finance, Projects, and basic Production scenarios.
- Experience with full life cycle D365/AX implementations (minimum 2–3 preferred).
- Strong proficiency with Lifecycle Services (LCS) including BPM, issue logs, and solution management.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and scalable D365 processes.
- Familiarity with standard integrations, workflows, and reporting needs across Supply Chain.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business process mapping skills.
- Strong communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- D365 Supply Chain certification is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional design, configuration, and deployment of Supply Chain modules in D365 F&O.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, perform fit-gap analysis, and create detailed functional documentation.
- Configure and support:
- Inventory Management
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Sales & Distribution
- Product Information Management (PIM)
- Master Planning (MRP) (preferred)
- Support end-to-end processes including purchase orders, sales orders, inventory transactions, product lifecycle management, logistics, and intercompany flows.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Production, and Retail to ensure integrated solution design.
- Prepare functional design documents (FRD/FDD), test scripts, training materials, and process flows.
- Lead and support Unit Testing, System Testing, and UAT, ensuring readiness for go-live.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports, workflows, and customizations.
- Participate in data migration for items, vendors, customers, and inventory master data.
- Provide go-live and post-go-live support, ensuring smooth transition to operations.
- Ensure alignment with Supply Chain best practices and D365 standard capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industry-specific Supply Chain processes (Retail, Distribution, Manufacturing, Food, Pharma).
- Knowledge of Master Planning (MRP/MPS) and demand/supply forecasting.
- Ability to work in a consulting environment, managing multiple clients and priorities.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 80% (if required).
- Valid work visa for Canada and/or the United States is a plus.
